Who says girls in glasses can't be fashionable?
I wear glasses and I've been wearing them since 4th grade which is more than 10 years ago (go figure!). I would wear contacts but I'm an on the rush kind of girl, plus one of the reasons why I wear glasses is that if I don't, my cheeks would cover up my eyes when I smile. Haha! Dorothy Parker, an American writer and poet once said "Men don't make passes at girls who wear glasses".
She might've been talking about me That is so untrue! Well what would she know? Nowadays, glasses are considered cool. If you doubt that, Google "girls with glasses" and you'll stumble upon Tumblr blogs dedicated to exactly that--girls with glasses.
This is Part 2 to my Panagduyog post last Friday. I realized that I only had a few more things to write about what happened on the third day (our second day) of the conference. Oh well.
I updated the other entry with more photos by the way! Click here!
Just a short post before we head off to church!
Here's something I wore to a movie date with my friend (and new photog) Lorraine about a month ago (oops! haha). We watched the noon showing of Les Mis and since I woke up late, I grabbed the first thing I saw.
I know this blog has been dedicated to my personal and creative pursuits (aka fashion, non-school related and personal life AKA Farrah's less boring side), but I wanted to show you what I will (probably) be doing once I finish school. So presenting:
My Chemical Engineering life! *\(^_^)/*
*got that emoticon from my orgmate ate Sheilah. haha.
HAPPY VALENTINE'S DAY!
I didn't really like how the color of my photos turned out cause they were taken inside a department store so I edited them in a reddish hue just to get in the spirit of Valentine's Day.
I was in CDO for a couple of days last week to attend a Chemical Engineering conference, as well as you know, visit my lovah Mia Durano of thehandmadeturban.com. After a grueling first day (we arrived at 4:30 am on Friday and had plant tours from 8:30am-5:30pm!! More about that soon!), finally we could rest and do whatever we wanted so I called Mia and she picked me up. We went to her house so she could change and she took me to Centrio.
Two Fridays ago, my friend Mithi and I went out after not seeing each other for a couple of weeks (wow, what's with the two-week interval period? :)) ) Anyway, after walking around a bit, we decided to stop by for a place to eat and chanced upon Dong Juan at the top floor of Abreeza.

Hey again everyone! Sorry I haven't blogged for a week! I haven't been that busy, but I haven't had the chance to go online since I drafted that other blog post. Anyway, over that week a lot of things happened so I have lots of stories to share with you. Lots of stories = lots of blog entries!! And not just entries I'm forced to write just for the sake of posting.
Anyway, this is what I wore to school last Wednesday. I didn't want to "cram" my outfit again so I peeked through my closet to see what I could work with. I was feeling so lazy and in a "dress" mood, plus I also remembered this waaaay old outfit of Vanessa Ann Hudgens in a shirt dress so I thought "Why not?". The shirt dress was too sheer though so I had to wear leggings. :( It totally threw off the aesthetics (meaning I felt so plain and wrong) so I wore a blazer to "Farrah" it up. I thought the end result was okay. What'd you think of the brown boho elements mixed in the more glam and polished ones? :)
PS. While searching for Vanessa Hudgens photo on the internet, I found out that she's currently dating Austin Butler aka Sebastian from The Carrie Diaries! What up!! They make a cute couple though!!
