I have a few more backlogged outfit shots but I decided to bump this up to the top because I love the way the photos turned out! I was reading through my old blog posts last night while cringing a bit because of the quality of the photos. I'm lucky now that I have friends with DSLRs that offer I can force to take photos of me like Mithi, Ayessa and le blogger friends from Davao Fashion Bloggers group who share in my plight! Now with the availability of photog friends, all I have to worry about is updating my wardrobe! Haha :p
This is what I brought to that same day Heidi and I had that shoot at DMSF, thus the reappearance of the pink blazer. As usual, I was rushing late for school so I just grabbed whatever clothes I could shoot. I've worn these pieces over and over on my blog already but never together so I'm really glad they turned out well. :)
I know this year basics are probably more 'in' than mixing prints but on most days, I'm a basics girl so I decided I'm gonna be a rebel and mix prints. Haha. #medyobadgirl
I think stripes and animal prints or the stripes and floral combo is your easiest, safest bet to mixing prints. I love that the skirt's kind of poofy and it lends a sort of 50's vibe to the wedges too. I chose the pink blazer to match the wedges and put the outfit together.
Keep working the 50's vibes, wooms. It's your era in my opinion. :)
