Like A Boy (Plus a Giveaway!)

So funny how right now as I'm blogging this, I am wearing the exact same pair of sneakers.

This is the last of the outfits Mithi and I shot at Torres, probably more than a month ago. I remember having come from the gym then. Amazing how a lot has happened in the last month, one major thing which was unforgettable was my getting sprained (sorry. I can't help but bring up the sprain cause these were the shoes I relied on most when I was injured). I'd gone from school girl/gym freak to my most hated state (sprained/injured/) to actual human being (haha to anyone who can get the Mean Girls reference).

Back then (and til now), I'd been looking for a plaid polo to use as a cover-up but it turns out that I didn't have to look far. We were in the process of moving out at the time and before I'd left for the gym, I saw my brother's plaid polo on top of a pile of clothes. Amazingly, it fit me! =)

If you're sick of your clothes and need a kick to spice up your basics, try raiding your family members' closets. I've found so many interesting pieces from my mother's, grandmother's, sisters' and (now) brother's closet. But if vintage isn't your thing, yet don't have money to treat yourself this Christmas (I'd like to believe I have selfless, generous readers :) ), fret no longer.
