So Fetch (Mean Girls 10th Anniversary!)

Mean Girls (starring Lindsay Lohan, Rachel McAdams, Lacey Chabert, Amanda Seyfried and Tina Fey) is one of my favorite movies of all time! It’s one of this generation’s most quotable (and quoted) movies ever. If you haven’t heard the phrase “If you’re from Africa, why are you white?”, then you must be living under a rock! One of the reasons why I love that movie though, aside from it being quotable, relatable and a load of laughs, is that it bonds people. My roomie Heidi and I used to go back and forth, throwing lines at each other, reciting the script from memory as we tried to stay awake while studying. That’s probably one of my favorite moments of ours, ever.

So anyway, today happens to be the movie’s 10^th year anniversary and it’s awesome that it falls on a Wednesday! Mean Girls fans already get what this implies; one of the most famous lines in the movie goes: “on Wednesdays, we wear pink.” I prepared for today weeks in advance. I couldn’t find any Mean Girls merchandise sold locally so I had a shirt printed just for today. Haha. I kept the whole outfit simple cause I wanted the shirt to stand out.

There are a bunch of other Mean Girls lines I want to have printed on shirts though because really, try as I might to pick out just a single favorite line from the movie, I can’t.
