Hey again everyone! Sorry I haven't blogged for a week! I haven't been that busy, but I haven't had the chance to go online since I drafted that other blog post. Anyway, over that week a lot of things happened so I have lots of stories to share with you. Lots of stories = lots of blog entries!! And not just entries I'm forced to write just for the sake of posting.

Anyway, this is what I wore to school last Wednesday. I didn't want to "cram" my outfit again so I peeked through my closet to see what I could work with. I was feeling so lazy and in a "dress" mood, plus I also remembered this waaaay old outfit of Vanessa Ann Hudgens in a shirt dress so I thought "Why not?". The shirt dress was too sheer though so I had to wear leggings. :( It totally threw off the aesthetics (meaning I felt so plain and wrong) so I wore a blazer to "Farrah" it up. I thought the end result was okay. What'd you think of the brown boho elements mixed in the more glam and polished ones? :)

PS. While searching for Vanessa Hudgens photo on the internet, I found out that she's currently dating Austin Butler aka Sebastian from The Carrie Diaries! What up!! They make a cute couple though!!

What does one wear to brunch? I have a vague idea so I did what I do in any situation: Ask WWBD. What would Blair do? A little Googling and I found this photo of an episode from the first season.

This is such a goody two shoes outfit! This is something I'd probably take inspiration from when I do a "meet the parents". My sister and I were talking about it last night. I forgot how our convo started but this is what I'm reminded of when I see this outfit post: a "meet the parents" kind of outfit. Mine was the unpolished version though. I noticed that I like having something "wrong" about my outfit to avoid looking too polished. After all, as Marilyn Monroe once said "Imperfection is beauty" :)

Blair wore a printed top and solid bottom but I did it the other way around and paired a printed skirt with my top. I think prints on top make me look bigger. :( Anyway, this was just a throw-on-whatever outfit. It's not bad, right? Sometimes I have outfits that I put together in my mind but they don't turn out as good. I think it's better to grab and go. In this case, I grabbed what was buried in my closet! I rarely wear any of these clothes, but the bag and shoes have had their share of the limelight here in my blog. =))

Hannah took these photos of me in school. I hung out for a bit with my fellow Chem Eng'g students to support Leah at the Karaoke Challenge, as well as check out the fiesta.

There is No Excuse for Ugly Photos

Yes, there is no excuse for ugly photos (especially for someone like me who is very particular with these things) but desperate times call for desperate measures.

My sister who isn't so adept at taking photos yet was the one who took my "outfit shots". (Hello cousin's leg in the background!) I'm sure you know that I am not the most tech-savvy person in the world as well so goodbye attempts at editing!

Anyway, this is what I wore for Vern's birthday dinner at Abreeza. After, my sister and I went straight to Garden Oases for my cousin's pool party. I love this shirt dress which I got from the Bauhaus event because its versatile and you can style it in so many ways! I cinched a belt around my waist and tucked the shirt out to cover my tummy cause the shirt's a bit too sheer.

Anyway, this will be a quick post since I have yet to pack for our trip!
