Awards season is over but I noticed that during the time, a LOT of celebrities chose to sport different shades of blue. During the 2014 SAG Awards alone, celebrities such as Amy Adams, Kelly Osbourne and Kathy Griffin were spotted in the cool hue. Who could also forget the Oscar's Best Supporting Actress Lupita Nyong'o in that blue Prada gown? She was the epitome of perfection! I'm actually torn between which is my favorite blue dress look--the other one being Kate Middleton in that blue Issa dress which she wore when she and Prince William announced their engagement. I, too, love blue, particularly navy, because it can exude either class, elegance, sophistication or fun, depending on the shade! Plus, I also look good in it. Hihi. That being said,

This one looks kind of inspired by another blue dress Lupita Nyong'o wore to the SAG Awards. I love how simple but interesting it is. The color reminds me of Princess Aurora (in Sleeping Beauty). If you caught ANTM Season 7, they had a shoot wherein they portrayed fairytale princesses. Joanne's dress was something like this. :)
Here's a dark blue dress which is perfect for night events. I love the detailed neckline while keeping the rest of the gown simple. A little style tip: darker blues tend to make skin look fairer while lighter blues complement darker tones well! This is why I like navy! It isn't as severe as black but makes me look fairer all the same.
This is a trumpet dress, which is one of spring's biggest trends (it's transitioning to Autumn/Winter though but who's stopping you from wearing a Spring trend?!). It's got a fitted bodice and a flowy hem, perfect for those who have a nice fit body (huhu, nothing Spanx can't fix though lol)
This last dress is perfect for the younger set because of all the sequins! You can wear this to prom or homecoming. My own prom dress was this color (but I dont want to show you the photos! haha). You can also use this as a bridesmaid gown or a gown to wear when attending a wedding.
