This is gonna be the last of my outfit posts with long hair for a time as I recently had my hair chopped off. I don't know what made me do it; maybe I've been (secretly) longing for a change some time and thought summer was the best time to do it cause I wouldn't have to face people as much, or maybe because I've always wanted to have (and pull off) short hair. Either way, I know if I thoroughly thought it through, I know I wouldn't have done it. So after my last exam, I just took the plunge.

Who says girls in glasses can't be fashionable?

I wear glasses and I've been wearing them since 4th grade which is more than 10 years ago (go figure!). I would wear contacts but I'm an on the rush kind of girl, plus one of the reasons why I wear glasses is that if I don't, my cheeks would cover up my eyes when I smile. Haha! Dorothy Parker, an American writer and poet once said "Men don't make passes at girls who wear glasses". She might've been talking about me That is so untrue! Well what would she know? Nowadays, glasses are considered cool. If you doubt that, Google "girls with glasses" and you'll stumble upon Tumblr blogs dedicated to exactly that--girls with glasses.

Gift ideas if you're willing to you know... spend for me. :-)

I haven't been the best girl this year and yet I've received so many blessings despite that. I haven't been big on asking for gifts. I mean, if people want to give me, then great but I don't want to be the one to tell them outright that "Hey! I want a gift from you!" But if they don't give me, then it's okay. I never really expect. Lately, I haven't been a huge gift buyer myself.

1) Filed 2012 planner

I wanna try something new. I've tried planners that have their weeks set out vertically (Belle du Jour). I still also like Belle du Jour though. I've bought BDJ for 2009 and 2010. My planner this year was a blank one from NBS cause I thought I'd be able to dooooooooooodle on it, but I didn't have enough time. I more of treated it as a diary instead of a planner though. The Filed planner has weeks set out horizontally so there's more space for my to-do's and little doodles.  :)

I'm definitely a planner girl. As in I really design them, etc. I'd love to show you photos of my past planners soon. =)

BenMore Scotch Whisky VIP Dinner

Some pictures from the event I attended last Saturday. Sorry haven't been able to blog much. I was busy working on my giveaway, which I'm VERY excited for you guys to know about! :)

So, me and a few other Davao Bloggers attended the VIP Dinner for Benmore Scotch and Whisky at Alor's  Home Kitchen in F. Torres Street with Benmore's endorser, the hunky Borgy Manotoc. Georgina Wilson was also scheduled to come but couldn't cause she had another event to attend to in Cebu. (sad face) I'm obviously a Georgie, aren't I? (Georgina Wilson's fans call themselves that--Georgies. hahaha)
