What's Love?

Finally got around to reading everyone's answers to my Valentine's Day giveaway question: 

What is love? 

Cheesy, I know, but I haven't formulated my own definition so I really loved hearing your thoughts. I'm sharing with you my favorite answers, as well as my pick for the best answer who will win some consolation prizes from the giveaway.

 I totally feel this. When someone I love hurts me, I can't help but still love them after. I guess it's attachment?

I think I heard the last line from a movie, I'm not sure what it is.  The second to the last line was beautiful though. :)

This definition would've tickled my high school self so much, especially the blushing cheeks, butterflies in my stomach bit. =))

Leyende Giveaway Winner!

So, I just sent the prizes of Hazel and Aine today (they won my Accessory giveaway). I've sent everything else, I believe! Venos, I still owe you yours. Was finally able to finish auditing this giveaway because I got a tweet asking when I'd post the winners. Nahiya naman ako. It's almost a month since the giveaway ended and wala pang winners. So sorry guys!

Anyway, got to finish all my school work for the week (ie lab reports and the like), so I did this :)

Friday the 13th

Friday the 13th always has a bad connotation. I never really believed in it because I don't think I've ever had a crappy Friday the 13th anyway. Just wanted to share my day with you all because today was quite far from crappy.

Some reasons why the first Friday the 13th (there are 3 in 2012!) was awesome:

1) Chris Tiu in the same resto we ate in

He was the object of my teenage fantasies.

Now that I'm older, I thought I surrendered him to the younger generation, but when my dad murmured "Hey, it's Chris Tiu", I literally dropped my fork. Why? Why does he still have that effect on me? (Dramatic lang) I didn't even know he would be in Davao, and wow! What are the odds he'd be dining in the same resto we'd be dining in? Definitely a sweet surprise!

Didn't take a photo of him though. That is soooo first year college. hahaha (Hi Mit, Jane, J6, Heidi)

Shop in Spotlight: Dress Diaries + Giveaway Winner

For the first time in a long time, I have a free day to myself! My class starts at 11:30am tomorrow (No AnaChem lecture, score!), so I can wake up late and get enough hours of sleep which has well-eluded me. :) Finished auditing 2 giveaways today. But first things first, a background on the shop who sponsored my giveaway!

Dress Diaries is one of the more successful online clothing shops in Davao City. Their collections are almost always sold out within a day of posting and during bazaars, their booth is flocked my many a fashionista (I even featured them in one of my earlier posts, read here). It helps that owner Marylou Briones has a great sense of fashion, which helps in picking only the chic-est, trendiest stuff.

Posting the giveaway for Day 9 before Day 7 and 8 because I want to combine my Leyende review & the winner of the giveaway as well the SOUL Bloggers' Soiree post + giveaway winner announcement. :)

RP Online Shop started in 2007 and was named "Rakistang Pinkista", during Gia Santos' second year in high school. She started out selling her old clothes. Later on, as she moved to college, she decided to reopen her shop and gave it a more posh name. Thus, RP Online Shop was born.

I know this is all you've been waiting for! Sorry for the delay! Really, really, really ultra mega sorry! *sad face* I had these giveaways stored in our computer for a few days already cause I wanted to announce all the winners in one post, but our computer broke down a couple of days ago. I thought all the files would be erased! Huge sigh of relief when I turned on the computer and everything was there. That incident forced me to post it ASAP cause I didn't want to have to audit entries again. Plus, people have been tweeting me when I'd release the giveaway winners. Patience guys, patience.
