GNO at Mono

Seeing me out partying is like seeing Haley's Comet: super rare! I seldom go out to party. I very much prefer a chill night out involving dinner and drinks, usually with people who know me best (high school friends, blogger buddies and cousins), although I make a few exceptions for events. ;) About two Fridays ago, Janvie, Davao's party prince, invited my bloggies and I to try out Mono After Office and Club Echelon.

Bad Hair Day

I've been stuck in a blogging rut recently. I came to a point wherein I couldn't think of anything to churn out on this blog and I was thinking and re-thinking of what to write about. I looked to my past entries and it seemed as if writing and sharing even the most mundane things came so easy to me back then. I don't know when I started to post my more "profound" thoughts but since I started doing so, it was hard to stop since it seemed as if people expected those kinds of posts from you. I just want to go back to the old easygoing me who just wanted to share my day. Besides, it's sort of hard to be "profound"  right now especially when nothing significant fills your day! :P

Someone Loves You When..

How do you know that someone loves you? For a hopeless romantic like me, I used to think that the grand gestures would determine how much someone loves you. I mean, why would someone go through all the trouble if they didn't? And I mean, c'mon you're talking to a hopeless romantic--how can a grand gesture NOT be romantic? But as I've matured, I've come to realize that it's the littlest things that matter most. Just know that the important people in your life love you, but often times, not in the way you want them to. You just have to recognize their love language. 

Hips Don't Lie

I wasn't supposed to shoot this particular outfit but since the opportunity presented itself in the form of my uncle's camera and my sister's "willingness" to take my photo, here's another outfit shot for y'alls. These were taken during my cousin Erika's debut party a couple of weeks ago. We were told to come in navy blue.

I Wanna Know What Love Is

Of the little I know of love, I know this much: love is so complicated and paradoxical that no word can fully encompass it nor define it. Why do you think people try to classify it in four kinds: agape, philia, eros and . Anyway why am I talking about something I know so little of? I guess it’s the effect of my Philosophy readings seeping into my system. I try as hard as I can to understand much of it [love, and the readings as well] and so far, I’ve picked up quite a few things to supplement my meager understanding of it.

Watermelon

Forgive the mini-hiatus and slightly grainy photos. First of all, I should've blogged about more outfits because I had a 5-day weekend (sadly commencing today) but I was out those 5 4 days (I'll be out later too though so... haha. I'm lucky that I didn't get assigned much homework!) Anyway, I hope I can get back to regular programming soon! And I hope I'll have more to blog about as I'll be flying out to Manila this Friday for a conference organized by my old organization, UP KEM. :)

Faux-cella

The Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival, or simply and widely known as Coachella happened around two weeks ago. However, that's not stopping me from posting my own festival-inspired look, what with music festivals happening here and there--Wanderland and Summer Solstice to name a few.
