Natasha Beauty Soiree

I was invited to go to a beauty soiree last Sunday at Cafe Demitasse. It was sponsored by Natasha, which is a popular direct selling company here in the Philippines. Natasha Beauty is their cosmetic line. It is relatively new; it was launched 2 years ago. It features 3 lines: Natasha Color Cosmetics, their carrier line; Sketches, their teenage line, and they also have Fanny Serrano make-up available.

Our speaker was Melody Tinoy, a make-up artist and Natasha's beauty make-up specialist (*thank you ate Meloi for pointing that out! haha), who talked about the importance of make-up in daily use. She also introduced the Natasha Beauty line and its benefits. For example, did you know that Intercos, the Italian laboratory which formulates make-up for Estee Lauder, Versace and Christian Dior, is the same laboratory that formulated the Natasha Beauty line?

Lots of food! Kinda hard to concentrate on the talk :P

Natasha was formulated to suit the Filipina skin color. Other than that, their products are hypoallergenic and very affordable. One of my favorites would probably be the lipgloss which has a little mirror and light on it! Get this, they said it will only turn off if you run out of lipgloss! Wild! My other favorite would be the Skin Perfect Tinted Mattifier, which acts like a primer and blends with ALL skin tones. (I'll be doing a review about that, you should watch out for it soon!)

To cap it off, Natasha's make-up artist, sir Benjie also did demonstrations of how to do fresh, sultry and sexy looks. I 'modeled' the fresh look.

I had a lot of fun! Food, drinks, make-up, make-overs and girl talk = bliss. :)
